Good Morning to all my armchair sailors..........its 1040 ATL Time, wind is still blowing in the mid 20 true, waves are big winds is out of the east. Big rolling waves....spray hitting cockpit on every 10th big wave....ah you have got the picture......oh we are at 0600am 22323w/6633n......last night we gave up a lot of time since we had to run the engine all night to keep us going thru the huge seas and squalls with a triple reef postage stamp main and the cutter storm jib.......no horse power....horroible bounceing of boat....unstable everywhere.....
Good news ...in 20 plus knots the crew of three got the jib back up .....Jamie could not believe we could do it...answer.....had too!
We are now sailing better with speed....boats have started tofiinish.....Our ittle boat is still 200 miles away....will finish late Sunday night........
