At the 9AM briefing, Steve Black indicated that the low was right on top of us and that Friday will be a good day to start. If we went out today off Hatterass we would have found 35knot winds on the nose with 17' seas......not this kid ..thanks..

Talked to Peter today...has a bad cold after returning from China...will be down on Thursday.....that makes the full crew.....Cap Jim, Gib Loesel, Jamie Taylor, Peter Reyburn and Sherry Burger.
The transponder was put on the boat today....we show up in Hampton...go to the caribbean 1500 website and get ready to watch Nyanza race...We are in the Racing Class 3...one of the smallest boats......
Put out some pictures today that Beans took.....Mariners Museum is a must if you are in the area.....Monitor and lots of great boat models etc....
