Sailing to Spanish Town, Virgin Gorda and North Bay February 14-15

Saturday Morning saw a beautiful sky and a great upwind sailing day in 18-24K true....
Doug had a blast and 5 tacks later and about 4 hours we were up by Spanish Town.

We took a dock.......hung out for the night and waited till morning to check out of immigration and customs in the BVI’s to leave for St Maarten.You are allowed to stay an additional 24 hours which we knew was going to happen......so we sailed one more time up to North Bay and took a mooring where we ran into the Gregory’s on Odessey just coming back from the Spanish Virgins....Kevin said he sailed upwind 51 miles in 20-30......Took Doug into see the Bitter End and to exchange a gift for Jane......following we cooked Tuna Steaks and some other fun things prepared by Sherry and Peggy.......tomorrow we were hoping for our perfect conditions that Chris Parker told us would occur to get across a very tough 70 miles into the wind with northern swells.
