Nanny Cay to Trellis to Virgin Gorda

Sherry and I left Nanny Cay on the 21st and sailed up to Trellis Bay....this is located right beside the Beef Island Airport. A very crowded bay....the Gregories were there waiting to pick up Kevin’s sister Karen Johnson and their good friends from Buffalo Robin and Kristin.
We all went over to “The Last Resort” a great restaurant at Trellis and waited while Kevin took the zodiac over to the airport to pick up their guests. A great dinner followed with a wonderful DJ who got Peggy deeply involved in his routine....Befotre she was done she kept asking him how he got his XXXX name, I think it was Angusto or something like that...oh well...good time had by all.

The 22nd saw us move the boat over to the Bitter End, but not without a stop at George Dog Island to snorkel. The captain, being me in fuyll snorkel gear, made a full inspection of the underside of Nyanza, realizing that a pull was going to be necessary for paint, zincs and other repairs to the bottom. You cannot appreciate how fast the salt starts destroying the boat. After the snorkel with Sherry doing all the heavy exploring, we proceeded with the Gregories up to a mooring at Biras Creek. Hung out for the night and then proceded to have a wonderful dinner on Friday Night before the kids arrived at Biras Creek. A little pricey but the food was wonderful and Robin outdid himself ordering the wine. By the way the man that built Bay Harbor in michigan has a 40 year lease on Biras Creek and is trying to do a similiar project....David Johnston......his boat is Resolute, a Westship 130...10 feet longer than Nick Scotts new boat.....pictures out on website.....Dinner was great...old person, stuffy place. He had a prty at the restaurant and came over to meet us and welcome us. Knows Bill Connor from Bay Harbor.....of note his hight price bay he is trying to develope is not located well....time will tell.
