Interclub Cruise 2011 a Winner

07/01/11 What can you say starting out a glorious season on Lake Erie by doing the five day Interclub Cruise that goes from Erie to Port Dover to Port Colborne and ending up at the fabuliousPoint Abino with BCC and BYC Summer Station. 63 Boats raced and Nyanza was very respectable...with the following crew Cap Jim, James T Mcbrier, David D Mcbrier, Tim Mehl, Bill Lillis, Bob Becker, Mike Preston (To Dover) and Dan the Man...Grassinger our BMW...what more could you ask for...Nyanza won the Erie-Port Dover Race First in Class/ First Overall...Wow. We then went on with the help of Chris lesak not Mike Preston to take in the five race series a 1-3-3-1-1-1
to win class and take a 7th overall. Great showing. Coming home from Point abino I invited my very good friend Peter Reyburn who missed his first year after 48 races tosail home with another neighbor we grew up with jack Schultz. It was a glorious sail..pete's a little under the weather and that fresh air and driving all day made him a very happy camper.
