10/28/08 Tuesday......Captain Jim and ground crew "Beans" Bob Becker arrived in Hampton to be greeted by heavy winds and 40Degree rainy weather at the Bluewater marina. Not good. Unloaded some additional supplies, called Sherry at her Daughters House where she was cooking mini burgers for the trip and told her we were going to dinner and find a room to stay warm.
Wonderful local bar/restaurant called Harpoon Larry's Oyster Bawe ran into looking for a hotel...Recommend it...oysters and clam strips were real good. Found a LaQuinta at the Colisiem area for 44.95 a might.......where are those rates in Erie?
Tuesday we will be very busy, getting the watermaker going and getting the boat ready for the safety inspection.
Woke up at 7:15 to the TV giving weather reports of 40degrees again, snow up by Erie and Gale Force winds on the Chesapeake. This is crazy. Gib shows up tonight.
