Locking thru Rochester Clover Street Lock 31

Sitting in Erie waiting to join the boat!

Special thanks to Harvey who helped Nyanza lock thru 31 on a windy day. Have not talked to the crew today, but Kim Yamma told me that the boat was near Amsterday last night and is probably on schedule to arrive at Van Schaick Island Marine tonight on the Hudson.

Bob Becker, Peter Reyburn and I depart to meet Nyanza around 7AM to arrive in Albany at around 1PM.

I have just talked to Sherry Burger, from Fort Lauderdale, who will meet the boat on Thursday in NJ and become our new Second Captain/First Mate/ and Gourmet Cook for the trip. Welcome Sherry.
