November 18,2020 Wednesday THE SAGA BEGINS.....David decided to help move the boat and we head for Annapolis to meet Sherry and Cortland who will be moving the boat. Arriving mid afternoon we were met by Paul Geppert who has been watching the boat a fixing lots of things...This old boat....
Up on the Great Lakes the boat only gets used for four months and with little heavy use....guess what..there are many 1982 items still on the boat......now waxed boat, new head, rebuilt hydraulic backstay and vang, Singleside band rewired.....raymarine gliches fixed......new steaming and deck light......etc etc. Its becoming a new boat I thought. Oh yes whale gusher manual pump rebuilt (Pic).....new float switch for bilge etc
Sherry and Cort arrived, beded down at a courtyard. Early Thursday Sherry and Cort started to work on everything getting ready to go down to Norfolk. Well that did not happen until Saturday as heavy wind running up to Annapolis..........more time to work on lots of boat issues, put 100 bags of groceries on the boat.....ready for departure Saturday......
