06/01/10 Nyanza is in the water...looking very pristine I might add as our BMW Dan continues to polish and varnish. Last week he got two coats on the cabintop teak....we have a real summer winner here....
Raced the Mork Trophy out to the light house...very light..managed to get out of the channel...not a Nyanza Day but had Dick Robertson, my Doyle salesman...on board..the new Doyle Mylar Kevlar Carbon Taped Main is beautiful....thanks Doyle...we also had Perry Abernathy on board from New Mexico....we finished in a little air...got the chute up for 3 miles...covered about 12 miles on a shortened course in 5 hours..ouch...race was thrown out due to a shorten course technacality.
EYC opened on Memorial Day and David took the kids on a little opty practice.
