Well, Monday came and Will Collins, our great college graduate helping out this summer helped me pull the boat at EYC for the last time this year. After a very heavy pressure wash...will sanded the bottom with 80 grit sandpaper and the captain himself showed up at 1500 with Trinidad SR paint and put on the first coat.....finished up at 1900 and went home for dinner....Tomorrow Will will put on the second coat and we will be good to go......
Meanwhile my special custom boat person...Andy Horniak is putting in the two thru hulls for the Spectra Watermaker.....he is excited to wire it up and see what it can do. Unfortunately we are in freshwater right now.

Two weeks and the countdown is here......am I ready.....you know the answer..sorta.
Working to hard painting bottoms and getting ready to leave as David, my 32 year old super sailor sails by in his J22 and sees his old man painting with red disease ladden paint all over him disclaiming.....WOW Dad you got a full coat on the bottom today!!! So much for Monday.............Cap Jim
