Meet Jane xxxxx from Pennsylvania, our First Mate and Cook.
Nyanza and her Captain Jim are pleased to introduce our First Mate, Jane to the 2008-2009 trip to the Chesapeake and the Caribbean. A very seasoned sailor and a great cook awaits our many voyages over the coming year.
Recently having sailed from the Galapagos Islands to Marquesas, Moorea, Bora Bora, Raitea, Rangiroa, Raritonga, Kermadec Islands, New Zealand, Australia in 2006-2007, Jane in 03,04 and 05 has sailed Bermuda, the Bahamas, Windwards and Leewards.
Jane brings the love of sailing, the stories and her experienced cooking to Nyanza.
Not only that, but Jane brings extensive knowledge of the Chesapeake from her many years of sailing.
Feel safe on Nyanza as you enjoy your trip. Jane is a Professional Occupational therapist trained in CPR, AED, Wound Care.
